The Drowned Giant
about this project
Based on J.G. Ballard’s surreal short story, The Drowned Giant required an exquisite blend of absolute photorealism and melancholic atmosphere. The primary environmental challenge lay in building a sprawling coastal beach setting that juxtaposed natural landscapes with the massive, organic scale and decaying anatomy of the giant.
Contributed to the environment production for The Drowned Giant, helping create the coastal setting that serves as the backdrop to the episode's unique narrative. The project emphasized naturalistic terrain, atmospheric lighting, and detailed environmental storytelling to support the scale, mood, and emotional tone of the story.
